  • Admission

Admission into JS1 is open to students who have completed their primary school education. Those who have successfully completed JS1 will be admitted into JS2, as opening permits.

The first batch of 10 students to register, pay up all fees, and acquire a lap top, will be given 10% tuition fee discount.

Students may also be accepted mid-year, as placements become available.
Admission decisions are made with the best interest of all students in mind, and are based on a combination of each student’s application and the academic program at Calvary Science School.

Application forms can be downloaded online, or obtained from Suite 14 Bupia plaza, Utan road, Jos, or from the office of the Secretary in the Calvary Science Nursery/ Primary or College.

Please note that there is a separate application for Nursery, Primary and College programs.

Applications can also be dropped off at the office of the Director Schools as well as that of the Principal of the college, with the requisite application fee, a copy of the student’s most recent report card, his/her birth and transfer certificates.

While applications can be submitted by email, they will not be considered complete until the requisite application fee is paid in full. If there is space in the class that you have applied for, you will be contacted by the school secretary to arrange for an appointment and academic assessment for your student.

Please note: if there is no space in that class, your application will be placed on a wait list. Students will undergo an academic assessment appropriate to the grade level they are applying for. The teacher will then review the assessment and provide detailed results to the admission officers.

If an assessment is successful, the family will be contacted to arrange for an interview with the appropriate admission officer.
Successful applicants will receive a registration package.

I hope that you take time to look round the school facilities so you can draw your own conclusions, “Seeing is believing:” they say, as you do so you will get a real sense of the richness and diversity of experiences at Calvary Science Schools. Above all else, I hope that you will gain a strong impression that, at Calvary Science Schools we have your interest at heart.
